Dr. Smith's Chiropractic Story

Dr. Smith, a native of Eunice, LA, received his first chiropractic adjustment at the age of twelve. Until that time, Dr. Smith had experienced chronic bronchitis, croup, influenza and allergies. Prior to seeing a chiropractor, he had taken allergy shots weekly for two years. By the grace of God and his mother's desire for a healthier way of life for her son, he was treated and experienced almost instant results. His breathing normalized and the allergies that he had been fighting all of his life were at last under control. He was able to get off of the medication that he had been taking for years and his quality of life improved dramatically.

It wasn't until Dr. Smith was in college that he decided to begin his journey toward becoming a chiropractor. He injured his back one-day at work and his physician prescribed muscle relaxers, which he took for three days. Immediately upon ceasing the medication, his pain returned. Remembering when he was younger and the results he had received with chiropractic care, he decided to give it another try.

After only a couple of visits, his back pain went away as well as the recurring allergies and headaches that he had begun taking medication for. It was then that Dr. Smith decided to dedicate his life to helping others discover a lifestyle that he had only dreamed about. Through the total-body-wellness approach of chiropractic care, he knew that he could help others just like him, who had struggled with symptom based "sick care".

While pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Smith became certified in the "Webster Technique", which focuses on the correction of pelvic torsion in pregnant mothers. For more information see the "Services We Provide" section.

Though trained in traditional chiropractic techniques, Dr. Smith also uses the latest technology in alternative methods of treatment for patients with chronic conditions as well as proven gentle adjusting techniques for pregnant mothers, newborns and infants.
